Personalisation Your selected personalisation will appear on ONE SIDE of the Plantabox. If you chose to have Deposit 5/- this will appear on both ends of the large box. It is not available on the square or smaller Plantaboxes. Due to the way in which the website is set up, it is not possible for you to physically separate the two "lines" of text as it will appear on the box. In order for us to be clear on what it is you would like on the box, and how you would like it to appear, please separate the two lines of text with a double "//" in the same input box. For example, if you want the box the appear with the stencil "The Cottage" on the box, (with the word "THE" on the first line, and the word "COTTAGE" on the second line)... ...please input the words in the form "THE//COTTAGE". Finally .. . . . .PLEASE CHECK CAREFULLY YOUR SPELLING AND ANY DATES - we will only put what you instruct us to!

Gift Message A final touch to this personalised gift is of course, your own personal message. We supply a business card size (or larger if necessary) gift card, attached to a cardette holder, which is carefully inserted into the compost of the box. (If ordering an empty box, the card is attached to the box) Tell us your message and we'll write this on the card. If you'd like the card and holder left blank, so you can write your own message on, then just let us know. The GIFT MESSAGE OPTION appears towards the end of the ordering process.

Important Delivery Instructions needed If you are ordering a Plantabox for someone else and having it delivered directly to them, we need instructions of where to leave the box if someone is not home. If the box cannot be delivered, it will be returned to the local depot and an additional charge may be levied for trying to redeliver on another day. When filling in the delivery address, under "Delivery & Handling" please detail any instructions for leaving the box if no-one is in.

Delivery costs I'm sure you've heard of the saying "you get what you pay for" well this is very true of courier services! We decided in 2007 that we would use a more expensive carrier who offered a "fragile" service to ensure our products reached their destination in the best possible condition. This means that all planted Plantaboxes are man-handled and kept seperate from general parcels as opposed to thrown on a conveyor belt. Since this change we have not received one complaint (that doesn't guarantee we won't ever receive one of course) Also our planted large Plantaboxes are heavy - weighing approx. 15kg. We are charged as to weight and only pass on to the customer the actual cost of carriage, although in some cases we do even absorb some of the cost.

Local delivery - BH Postcodes Our courier partner offers a reduced cost to local deliveries, which is any address with a BH Postcode. Small planted Plantaboxes and all empty crates cost £5.00 and the larger planted ones just £6.00. Multiple orders delivered to the same address will be calculated on total weight of order; i.e 1 large planted Plantabox and 1 small herb Plantabox would cost £7.50. When placing your order, you'll be prompted to select a "Delivery Destination" and when you select the BH Postcode option, it will recalculate the shipping costs accordingly.

Delivery Areas Covered Our delivery costs apply to mainland UK. See above for reduced rates for BH Postcodes. Please email us BEFORE placing an order for any deliveries to Isle of Wight, Scottish Lowlands and Highlands, Northern and Southern Ireland. As an indication, an empty Plantabox would cost in the region of £9 - £15. We regret that we cannot deliver any planted goods to the Scottish Islands, Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.

Plants & Herbs Used Our pictures give you an idea of how the various boxes will look. The actual plants used will vary from week to week but will always be of similar value. If you wish to know exactly what will be in the box then please give us a ring. However, we always make sure that on opening the Plantabox, the recipient will find the array of plants attractive and pleasing to the eye, with some plants not yet in full bloom, to prolong the appearance of the box.
