Large crate measures 53cm L, 36cm W, 27cm H.
Plantaboxes can now be enjoyed by the younger generation for creating their own vegetable growing patch. They'll love to see their own name on the crate and hopefully this will encourage ownership of their own range of produce!
This Plantabox comes complete with bespoke fitting lining, a bag of polystyrene chippings for drainage, a 24 cell seed tray to start off the seeds, a set of three metal garden tools in childrens size and a set of seeds. The seeds are for cherry tomatoes, carrots, lettuce and sweetcorn and include instructions.
All you need is approx 30-35 litres of compost (half a standard size bag) and then you are ready to get to work. Instructions as to how to prepare the box are also included.
IMPORTANT : Seeds included can be planted between February and August (depending on the vegetable) or choose to plant up some winter veg and save the seeds for Spring.
Personalisation - included in the price. This will appear on ONE side of the box and can be up to 20 characters (incl. spaces and abbreviations) per line and 2 lines are available. Stencilling is in capitals only and the size used will depend on number of letters. See our "Personalisation Ideas" for other suggestions.
