Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our shop, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
IMPORTANT : Once an order has been submitted and accepted, you do not have the right to cancel if the product is bespoke and personalised. Please contact us immediately, preferably by phone, should you have any queries, changes or concerns about your order. See "Returns Policy" for further information about cancelling orders.
We accept credit card payment either online or over the phone or payment by cheque.
Paying by cheque If you pay by cheque, make the cheque payable to Orchard Gifts. Please note that all orders will not be despatched until the cheque has cleared. This normally takes 5 working days.!
Unavailability of Ordered Plants : We reserve the right to change specific plants, as shown in the illustrated examples; if for market conditions we cannot source that particular plant. Please rest assured that you will always receive good healthy plants that look great !

IMPORTANT - SHIPPING & DELIVERY As you will appreciate, our planted Plantaboxes are fragile and as such we pay a premium to ensure our boxes are carefully man-handled and not thrown on a conveyer belt. We believe this extra cost is worthwhile and we hope you agree.
Our shipping charges are kept as low as is practical to ensure that you receive your purchase in the best possible condition. We have invested in specialist cartons to ensure that Plantabox arrives to the recipient in the condition it leaves us. Delivery starts from £5.95 for the small planted crates and all empty crates and £8.95 for the large planted crates per order for your first Plantabox, and for multiple orders TO THE SAME ADDRESS, delivery is between £2.00- £3.00 per box thereafter (depending on size and weight).
We have spent time, money and effort on the specialist packaging to ensure Plantabox reaches it's destination in good condition. However, on a very few occasions the carton and it's contents may be mis-handled during transit. This may mean that the plants need re-positioning, as we have only just planted them and they need time to bed themselves in.
We only ship to mainland UK. However, we can arrange delivery of EMPTY crates to various UK islands and Northern Ireland for an additional charge.

Delivery Schedule We will acknowledge your order straight away and will start processing it within two working days. Please see our section on "Current Lead and Delivery Times"
If you need the order to be dispatched sooner, ie for a birthday, please phone or email to check availability. We always try to accomodate short notice orders, providing we have the plants available.
In the unlikely event that we accept an order that we cannot deliver within this guideline, we will let you know and arrange an immediate refund if required.
Our couriers specify that delivery will be next day between 8.00 a.m and 4 p.m. It is advisable that you or the recipient are available to accept delivery when it arrives, so the box does not spend too much time at the delivery depot. If you are able to provide details of where the box can be left somewhere safe in your absence, this would be extremely useful. If you have given us your email address, we can arrange email confirmation of dispatch.
Plantabox cannot be held responsible for damage to perishable goods whilst the box is in the depot outside of the specified delivery time.

Privacy Policy Plantabox do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
IMPORTANT : Under the above regulations, personalised goods are an exception to the normal regulations regarding cancelling orders. Should you decide you wish to cancel an order you must notify us within 24 hours of placing the order, ideally by telephone on 0845 370 6360 or if by email, you must ensure a response is received within 24 hours. If the products have not been made then we will arrange to cancel the order BUT if they have, then you will not be entitled to a refund. Your rights are unaffected if the product received is faulty and not fit for purpose or repairable.
But if you are not happy in any way, please contact us and we will endeavour to sort out the problem.
Please note: We will not be responsible for any CUSTOMER mistakes in personalisation. We will replicate exactly as you've instructed us, so please check this carefully.
Please note: Due to variations on the colour of the wood and of the colour of the woodstains used on our boxes, colour variations may occur from the illustrations. We cannot be held responsible for these changes. If you require a specific colour to be applied to the boxes, then please contact us BEFORE placing an order. |
