By working with our delivery partner, DPD Local (formerly Interlink Express), we’re utilising the latest technology to make your delivery on time, securely and at your convenience. We want you to be in charge of your delivery to make sure that it is safely delivered, with the minimum of inconvenience to you. Accurate information is the key to success. Please make sure that you enter your postcode accurately, and by including your mobile number as well as your email address means we can notify you by email or text of our anticipated ‘one hour delivery window’. You will not be required to wait in all day for a parcel. If the time is not convenient, you can use the text or the email to change the delivery date.
A personalised text message or email will be sent direct to you advising you of the date and time of delivery. You can choose to reschedule delivery for a different day if required.
We’ll confirm the package has been dispatched.
Out for delivery
You will receive a text message and email on the day as soon as your package is out for delivery with a one hour delivery window.
If the date and time is not convenient, you can change the date by replying to the text or email.
SMS/email messages for calling card deliveries
SMS and email calling card notifications will be sent to you, providing you with speedier notifications when a calling card has been left at the delivery address.
Deliveries can also be notified and rescheduled via email.

We also have a facility where you can track your parcel or rearrange delivery easily and conveniently while on the move. By visiting the DPD mobile website you can quickly locate the information you’ll need about your delivery and, if necessary, make changes. Once on the mobile website, you’ll be able to:
Arrange to collect from the local depot
Change the delivery day to a more convenient date
Change to an address where you know someone will be in to receive the parcel
Ask us to leave the parcel in a safe place

If your parcel can't be delivered
If your parcel can't be delivered it will be returned to the depot and the driver will leave you a calling card with 4 options:
Collect from Depot – Choose to collect your parcel at a time convenient to you
Leave in a safe place – Call to arrange for DPD to redeliver to a safe place at your address
Change delivery details – Choose an alternative day or address within your postcode sector
Upgrade Delivery – Before 12 (Noon) on a nominated day Monday to Friday – Cost £6
If there is anything wrong with your delivery or your crate arrives in an unsatisfactory condition, you must inform us within 48 hours to enable us to log your problem with our courier and to deal with it as expediently as possible.

DPD Local is the most innovative parcel carrier around. Thanks to our industry-leading Predict service, we provide parcel recipients with a one hour delivery window, notified by SMS and email, so they don't have to wait in all day. What's more, our revolutionary Follow My Parcel service enables receivers to watch the progress of their delivery on a real-time map, all the way down to a final 15 minute timeslot.
To give our SMS and email notifications that personal touch, the sender's branding is included and we even tell you the name of your DPD Local driver, as well as the position you occupy in their delivery queue. As well as keeping customers informed at every stage of the journey, we believe in maximising choice and convenience. That's why we provide access to a suite of rescheduling options both on the day of delivery and the night before, allowing customers to take delivery of their goods in a way that suits.
